Patination
Patination involves the heating of a cast work, and the skilful application of metallic oxides, layer upon layer, until the desired effect is reached.
Each piece is therefore different, and the surface becomes an artwork in itself.
Metalic oxides used are potassium, iron, copper, titanium etc.
Finally the piece is waxed to preserve the surface.
